Since I was a child I loved going to my mom’s classroom where she taught grade seven. I would help her set up and organize her classroom at the start of each year. I also enjoyed helping her mark tests and assignments at home. I had a huge passion in becoming an elementary school teacher just like her. After graduating high school in 2006 I continued on to post-secondary school at the University of the Fraser Valley where I began taking courses towards my Bachelor of Arts Degree. After a couple of years I decided I wanted to take a step back from school and focus on my relationship. I married my husband in 2012 and in 2014 we had our first child. After seven years staying at home with my three children, I decided to return to school to complete my Bachelors of Arts Degree with the goal to complete my Bachelor of Education Degree and fulfill my dreams of becoming an elementary school teacher. I desire to help children learn in a safe, loving, and fun environment. It is important for me to be a part of helping others succeed in a diverse, supportive, inclusive, and positive way. This is my e-portfolio, and I look forward to discussing it further.
